many of these beauties in my net while I was collecting on a wet swamp. Scatopsidae maybe ? JUne 30. 2011 Loviisa, Finland

 Simulium (Simuliidae) female. The markings may allow a regional expert to narrow the ID down to a species complex.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
