My feeling tells me it is Drosophilidae but I cannot give an immediate species identity.

The long prescutellar acrostichals and general colouration suggest Leucophenga. The spotted abdomen and other colouration are right for Leucophenga maculata female.

Paul, Tony, thx for the help. Papp described another L. species, L. hungarica frorm Hungary in 2000. Can you exclude that species? |

I thought about Leucophenga maculata but I miss the silvery pilosity on the mesonotum. There should be some in L. maculata females. However, the wings are clear, as they should be in maculata, so you may be right. I need to check if I have the description of hungarica to check.

Well, luckily I had a reprint and I can tell it is NOT L. hungarica, as that species does not have the dark markings on the scutellum and does not have spots on the abdomen.

The description of maculata in Baechli et al (Fauna Entomologica Scandanavica) suggests that the female of maculata does not have silvery-white markings on the mesonotum. I have to say I don't have a female of maculata to examine - my remarks are based on this description. As Paul says, hungarica has a completely different abdominal pattern.
