I've just finished the dissection - seems a good fit for E. suwai. Thanks to Oxycera for alerting me to the possibility of finding this.

Looks ok to me, but the absolute confirmation would be the cease across the middle of the postgonite. It's only c.0.01mm in size, so tricky. I'm sure Michael Ackland wouldn't mind confirming the specimen for you. |

Hm, I got everything out again to check the postgonite (and have another go at dealing with the camera vibrations), but the internal bits have gone AWOL again. As you say, they are small . I did note during the dissection that the pregonites fitted the illustration well, but can't confirm the tranverse structure on the postgonite. I'm not sure whether the answer is more practice or lying down in a darkened room. I think I favour the latter . I'll contact Michael after the weekend. |
