Help me, please, with ID.
Fly was found in the end of spring in south Karelia.

With Syrph the Net keys (2010) the identification leads to H. lapponicus Wahlberg var borealis Staeger (= H. borealis Staeger).
So my answer is (as far as it is reliable by pictures): yes.

For more accurate ID abdomen should be good seen?
Maybe exist some distinguishable sign, and in the next time I will can took more good and useful photo.
