Hi, I found this on wet marshland near the Thames in south Oxfordshire, England. Is it Chrysotoxum cautum?

Thanks, Chris R.

Hello,

www.glaucus.org.uk/Wasp194.jpg

Chrysotoxum cautum or C verralli ?

I do not have the keys to separate these two species just using a photograph.
