 In a wetland, and I wasn't able to get close. This was the only photo I got.

8 July 2009, north of the arctic circle, between Inuvik and the Yukon border, Canada.

 Eristalini, Lejops or Parhelophilus based on combination of stripes on thorax, curved R5, and narrow stigma.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
