Not sure about this one, but if I have to dive in, I'd try Sphaeroceridae. About 3/4 mm long, photographed yesterday in thick vegetation near a small stream near Rome, Italy. Thanks, Sarah. |

Sure enough. Could be Leptocera or related genus.
