Hello everyone,

could someone help me to identify this fly?

Found in a cheese shop in Crema, Lombardy region, northern Italy.

I think it's a Sphaeroceridae of the subfamily Limosininae, but i can't go any further with the ID.
I have no experience with these flies.

Thanks in advance!

Alessandro

My best guess is genus Leptocera considering the wing venation, maybe Leptocera fontinalis?

The wing venation isn't right for Leptocera, more images showing the dorsal aspect inc. the scutellum, dorsal and lateral views of the mid femur and tibia would help, it's difficult to say what this is from the images so far. Maybe a lateral close up of the genital capsule too?

Thanks for your reply.

Here I attach the photo of the scutellum.

I'll post the other structures soon.
