I think it is Sylvicola punctatus of Anisopodidae. |

I am now working with Finnish Anisopodidae and I do not agree with Stephen. Wing of S. punctatus has dark band from pterostigma to middle of the wing. This specimen is either S. stackelbergi or S. fuscatoides. Antti |

Yes, S. fuscatus is possible but not probable. All specimens I have seen from Finland earlier determined as fuscatus were stackelbergi or fuscatoides. Antti |

True, but it cannot be ruled out. Michelsen (1999) states: Distribution. − Europe, ranging from France and Italy to southern Scandinavia, eastward to Russian Transcaucasus.
