Hi Peter, It's not P. manicatus, the face doesn't protrude enough and the spots are not big enough for the male. I can't say what it is though, more angles would be useful and perhaps some closer crops for anyone to make any sort of judgement. Janet http://cubits.org... |

It seems to be a male in the Platycheirus peltatus group, most likely P. peltatus itself, but we can't rule out P. nielseni I guess. Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
