I took this nice specimen the 08 of May 2010, wood of Lauzelle, Louvain-la-neuve, Belgium. I cant' give a name on it. Do you have an idea? The size is close to Tipula maxima, if I remember well. If I follow the PDF, the antennas look like Tanyptera atrata male. But If I look also at the trochanter, they are black... so...? T. nigricornis? I am not sure about all those color variations. T. Atrata seems extremely variable.
