Hi, Today I saw this larva climbing a house wall. Does anyone know what taxon it belongs to? I know Bagworm Moths (Psychidae) and Case-Moths (Coleophoridae), whose caterpillars live in bags, but these look different. So I really wonder who makes such a nice little ton to carry along. It really looks like a Clytrinae (Chrysomelidae) larva.

That's a good hint - many thanks! Best wishes from cold, wet, and grey Berlin... |
