List:

http://www.earthl...rders.html

no megaloptera(http://en.wikiped...is_lutaria) on list.

Where does that fit in into first list ?

EDIT: counted on first list 29 orders, on top they claim there are 32. Which 3 are missing ?

Hemiptera= Homoptera + Heteroptera
Dicyoptera = Blattodea + Mantodea
and Megaloptera should be listed ! Wink

If we talk about 32 items on list. Where does Raphidioptera fits (not on list):
It should be on list according to this:
http://en.wikiped...i/Snakefly
?

EDIT:

From wiki
Snakeflies are a group of insects in the order Raphidioptera, consisting of about 210 extant species.[1] Together with the Megaloptera they were formerly placed within the Neuroptera, but now these two are generally regarded as separate orders.

confused, shoud be neuroptera removed from list, Raphidioptera added, (Megaloptera allready there), or something ?

check third drop down ('insects') here please:

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
