Hi, when I follow the key with this Mydaea: parafascial narrow, abdomen black, femora dark, arista plumose, mediotergite pruinose, prealar seta as long as posterior notopleural, hind femur with posteroventrals in basal half, fronto-orbitals separated with frontal vitta and wings darkened; I will come to Mydaea obscurella. It would not be new to Finland but not the most common Mydaea species. Did I go wrong somewhere ? July 30. 2007 Loviisa, Finland. Jari JariF attached the following image: [148.45Kb] |
