A wasp, try Sphecidae (Digger wasps).

Bembix belongs to the Sphecidae family or Crabronidae family?

You are right, Bembix belongs to the family Crabronidae, not Sphecidae (I'm still not used to this Smile).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
