Is this position normal for mating flat-footed flies ?. First time I've caught a mating pair and not seen the females abdomen bent nearly double in other fly mating pics ? Brian V. |

Any suggestions on whether this is a normal mating position or was the male watching a football match ? Brian v. |

Very very nice. To tell the truth, I've never seen any platypezid during mating. So, the mating position is very unusual, I going to find out if is it normal. Michal
