Beginner's luck.

The spot seems to be quite popular, this little lady showed up two hours ago. Together with the two males I saw on Saturday, it is probably enough to call it a good year. Smile

BTW, the first one I saw through the view-finder of my camera was a female that appeared in the background when I was taking some pictures of a Volucella zonaria last Friday. One of the males was there on Monday and Tuesday, (not as cooperative as on Saturday).
