Hello,

this 11mm fly is from july from near a small river in western germany (the Erft in Grevenbroich). In the gallery Thereva inornata seemed to fit best for me. What is it?

Excellent pic, nevertheless, there is no way you can ID male Thereva from picture.

Start collecting and I can tell you more

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
