I think smaller ones (2-2.5mm) and with somewhat different forelegs are the males of the same species.

Hi Dima, I would say you are on the right track with Piophilidae. Without key I wouldn't dare to even guess the genus. As soon as the specimens are identified, would again be a nice addition to the gallery! Jan Willem |

Piophilidae for sure. I think we will need to let a key or Andrey Ozerov loose on these.  And they might even be different species: one has a yellow anterior margin to the frons, the other has not and the colour of the hind legs is also different. Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |

There are two species of Piophilidae. Fotos 1 and 2 with Prochyliza varipes (Meigen), and fotos 3 and 4 with Protopiophila latipes (Meigen) |
