Hello,

I'd like to have some help once more with some ID...

This little orange diptera was flying in my home in May and June 2004, in Dijon (Burgundy, France). Body length was 2 mm.

I thought about some Cecidomyiidae. Am I right ?
Is it possible to be more precise ?

Thanks ! Wink

Hello Benoit,
Yes, you are absolutely right with your assumption that this is a cecidomyiidae.
Unfortunately that is all I can tell you, it is a big, difficult family and impossible to identify from a picture, I think!Wink
