Really unusual Syrphidae are best posted in the separate Syrphidae forum Smile

To me it looks like a relative of the European genus Sphaerophoria Smile
Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.

Again a female of Toxomerus sp.
A difficult genus, with a lot of undescribed species in Southern America!
