Hello

I photographed this about 6 mm large fly on daisies in the garden on 01.05.2024. Unfortunately there is no other view. Jürgen has already given me the hint to Empis sp. Is it possible to identify the species?
Finding data: Germany, Saarland, Bexbach, garden, 250 m, 01.05.2024

Greetings, Volker

Hi Volker, pretty sure, it's a female Empis (Pachymeria) femorata.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner
