Another one. On umbellifor, photographed at the Radley Lakes, Southern England in July 2005. Can anyone positively identify this at species level, and point out the distinguising characteristics that made, or might have made, identification possible. Male E. pertinax indeed; front tarsae yellow, triangular shape of abdomen. Once you got the jizz typical males are easy to distinguish in the field. |
