Another very small fly seen at Scatsta Airport scuttling around at a lit window. Any idea from the antennae what it might be? Size about 2-3mm-ish.
Not very hopefully Roger.

Might be a Cecidomyiid, antennae look like they might be beaded and the wing venation looks pretty reduced.

Thanks for that Gordon. I've only got 1 Cecidomyiid on my Checklist which is Lestremia cinerea but I better not tick my list yet, as I'll get a bollocking from someone -AGAIN...

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
