hi flyforum,

Another little fly in wet grassland.
size: 3-4mm
obvious dark spotted wings and dark stripes on the thorax.

place: Amsterdam Schellingwoude
date: 28-09-2008

Any idea about these specie?

I don't think you will have a detailed picture of sternite 8 (which is normally retracted)Wink. That's what I would need to be entirely certain.

It's a pitty. Sternite 8 not visible. But all (not entirely reliable) colour characteristics match Geomyza balachowskyi.
