Birth of a fly !

I took this photo's of a birth of a fly. You can see the going out and in of the fontanel. !!! The birth took very long (half hour), and it was probleby to long for the fly, because the fly did not unfault his wings and was dead the next morning. So I don't know the ID of the fly... Nice sequence Joke ! Your fly could be a male Hydrotaea (I think I can guess an Hydrotaea-like notched fore femur/tibia in pict #5). Stephane. |
