Hi, I tried to get an ID for this Longhoptera female and ended to Lonchoptera nigrociliata BUT I have only the RES key for British flies. So maybe this is something else Frown August 13.2008 Helsinki, Finland.

If I remember correctly all postocular bristles should be dark in L. nigrociliata, which is not the case in your specimen. But I have no keys available right now. So I think your specimen is not L. nigrociliata.
