Hi lweit. In my key Syritta and Neoascia separate on teza: Syritta - rm after middle of d cell Neoascia - rm before middle of d cell. For me this caracter isn't visible on this flies. For me it is both Syritta, but I don't know why. Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

No, teza is part of dihotomic key, for example: 23. rm after middle of d cell - go to 35; rm before middle of d cell - go to 24; Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Book. 1970, Diptera of European part of Soviet Union, in two large voluems. Key is old, for example, Eupeodes lapponicus is Syrphus lapponicus. But the main problem is that it is in Russian. If you read Russian I can send you CD copy. Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
