21 June 2008, Almaty province, the steppe N of R-12 road to Kaskelen, 43.180255?N, 76.732934?E. On bark of a lone elm tree. Size 8 to 8.5 mm.

It does look like Mintho rufiventris ... but when you get outside Europe Theo always mentions other genera, like Minthoides etc. But in this case I am pretty sure it still looks like Mintho to me  |
