Initially though this small fly about 4mm body length was a flat- footed fly. Behaved like one- running round in circles on a leaf but it doesn't seem to have the "flat foot "- any ideas ? Taken a few days ago South coast UK. Brian V. |

This is a Calyptrate fly, possibly a Fannia male.
