Hello! A fly from yesterday evening in our garden (northwest Germany). This 5 mm animal was the darkest Dolichopodidae I have ever seen. Possibly a Campsicnemus sp.? Hello, Igor! Igor Grichanov wrote: Poecilobothrus sp. Oh, that's interesting, thanks! We have Poecilobothrus nobilitatus (one of the few Dolichopodidae, I can identify myself - at least the males...) here at a small pool in our garden, but I never saw such a dark one. According to "Entomofauna germanica" we have 5 other species here.
