I have taken this in my garden this morning in Valkenswaard south of the netherlands one is bronze coloured and the other green is this the same species?

This is the green one who are most common in my garden these days mostly sitting in the sun.

I can't see enough to be certain. Based on what I can see I think they are probably both male Lucilia sericata but I wouldn't be willing to put money on it. The difference in colour is a product of the fly aging from metallic green to a more bronzed colour.

To be able to positively ID Lucilia sericata I need to clearly see the base of the wing (basicosta) and the mid tibia. The flies pictured above are both Lucilia, but there are half a dozen very similar species that would be possible for you to get. L sericata is probably the most common in most places, particularly in urban areas.
