 This larva was found under pine tree bark overwintered.

 At the risk of making a fool of myself but maybe someone will then take the time to tell me why and at the same time tell you what it is: it somewhat resembles a Dasysyrphus larva.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
