Hello!

This fly was feeding on the blossoms of sorb in my garden. I hope it is not hopeless for identification...

From Susan's notes Wink : pale basicosta, mid tibia with 1 ad, large frons, 3 post ac, I'd say Lucilia sericata.

Agreed. The yellow palpi and conspicuous abdominal dusting additionally confirm L sericata.
