Sinai, small oazis, near the water exuding out of the rock.
At first glance I decided that it is Scathophagidae. But they havn't such a large calyptra. Then Muscidae? 8-10mm

I thought about Lispe, but Lispe from Thailand was much slender and less brutalGrin

And this around water Muscidae from Thailand eating something from shell of dead Pomacea canaliculata, is it Lispe too?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
