May be Chrysotoxum festivum? Darkened area on the wing not to the tip? |

Hi, this is certainly not festivum but would probably run to intermedium using existing keys. However, this is a complex with several species in Spain and the true intermedium probably does not occur there. I would propose to call this "Chrysotoxum sp." because this ID is certainly correct whereas any identification to species level would be probably wrong. Cheers, Dieter |
