May be Chrysotoxum festivum? Darkened area on the wing not to the tip?

Hi,

this is certainly not festivum but would probably run to intermedium using existing keys. However, this is a complex with several species in Spain and the true intermedium probably does not occur there. I would propose to call this "Chrysotoxum sp." because this ID is certainly correct whereas any identification to species level would be probably wrong.

Cheers,
Dieter

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
