A new Tephritidae to my collection - Chaetostomella cylindrica, or are there similar species? Seen in a pasture near our garden in Rheinbach near Bonn/Germany, 3-4mm. Thank you for your help, Jörg

Yes. There is the only sandy place in Baden Wurttemberg with another species, C. rossica. The rest is C. cylindrica, with 2 host races, on Cirsium+ and on Centaurea+ host plants Val |

Thank you so much again. Both plant groups are there, and I am happy about this addition to my photo collection :-) |
