Hello!

Among the hundreds of 2 mm Drosophilas of the obscura group (?, http://www.foto-u...bscura.jpg) at my banana baits in the garden (northwest Germany) there was this slightly bigger (3-4 mm) fly yesterday. I'm not sure about the family: also Drosophilidae or maybe Anthomyzidae (oder even Asteiidae)?

Unfortunately the fly was too high in the tree, so that I could not get a dorsal view.

Hello, Jorge and Valery,

thanks for your replies!

Not for a beginner like me Wink. Drosophilidae was my first guess, too. But the very long wings made me unsure. Looking through the gallery this detail reminded me most of Anthomyzidae.
Best regards,
Jürgen
