Hi,
Though these are rather small flies and accordingly difficult to image for my camera, I see from wing venation that they belong to Platypezidae. Is it possible to get to a genus name?
Photographed in Berlin in October.
Many thanks, Sundew

My suggestion is Platypeza consobrina

Many thanks, Tony. I do hope that the two individuals really belong to the same species, as there was no copulation to watch. However, they would make a nice couple!
