Hi,

a few days ago, I took a few pictures of a larger crane fly in our garden. I think it could be a Nephrotoma-species, but I'm not sure which. Is it possible, to determine the species from the image?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), Garden, shrub leaf, 13.06.2024, app.18-20 mm

Greetings, Uli

I'd say Nephrotoma flavescens (Linnaeus, 1758), female
Best regards,
Carlo
