 Hello Forum,

a Cheilosia spec. from the alder marshland in Hagen (D) 175 m above sea level. This photo I took on May 8th 2007. The plant in the background is Alopecurus pratensis.

Is a closer determination possible?

 Couldn't it be a Melanostoma?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
