Hello, I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on November 18th 2023. Given the similarity with this individual: https://diptera.i..._id=104687, could it be a Macquartia tessellum, or is it something else? I think you are right: your autumn/winter fly Macquartia tessellum.
