I took pictures of this possible fannia pallitibia on 2th October 2023 in Den Helder, Netherlands. Can someone confirm its identification or tell me which other species is this?

Thanks a lot.

Greetings,
Mario Renden

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
