This medium-sized fly seems to have an orange abdomen, but one cannot see a lot of it. Nevertheless, my very wild guess would be that it might be a female of Fannia lustrator. Its probably wrong, but maybe its possible to identify it from the picture.

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Garden in Munich (-West), leaf 09.05.2024, app. 7-8 mm

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
