Hello together, I found this insect two days ago on a wall of our house (Freckenhorst, NRW). It had about 5mm. Can it be identified? VG Christine Christine attached the following image: [248.33Kb] Edited by Christine on 30-07-2023 07:58 |

Hi, not Diptera, so better post it in "Other insects, spiders etc.". Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Hallo Christine, if you have more photos, we could be more sure - but I think you are right with Gelis (Ichneumonidae - Cryptinae), and it could be one of the G. melanocephalus group.
