 Hi,

This hoverfly took a rest on a leaf at our garden hedge.

Don't really know what it could be, but my (uneducated) guess would be some Melangyna species. Can that be confirmed or excluded from the attached image and/or is a narrower determination possible ?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 21.05.2023, app. 8-10 mm
