Hi All Another from my recent jaunts. On the edge of a small mixed copse, by the side of a river. First I thought that this might be a Eristalis, but I suddenly realised that there was no loop in the wing vein. This looks very similar to the image in Ball & Morris (albeit an image of a female) and some of Steven Falk's image show some variation that I think could encompass this one? Could someone please confirm or set me straight? Thanks, Gareth Gman attached the following image: [137.82Kb] |
