Good afternoon,

today two pictures of Tipulidae with a request for confirmation or correction. My guess it is Nephrotoma cornicina ♀.

Found in May 2021, habitat sandy dry grassland at the edge of a sandy pine forest in southwest Germany.

I think this is N. submaculosa, but I am no expert.

Thanks Jan. It is quite possible. Apparently there are several very similar species. Let's wait and see, maybe someone else has an idea.
