Hello,

I photographed this fly near Rapino (CH), Italy, on September 11th 2022. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Buona sera Emanuele, I try a bold ID: female Stomina? And the second Image shows the fore tarsus very good: S. calvescens?
Based on Ceretti: I TACHINIDI DELLA FAUNA ITALIANA

Yes, that is indeed a female Stomina. I’d rather identify males in this genus, but you might be right.
