I found this fly on a wall in the sun (22-06-2006, Belgium). Is it an Anthomyiidae ? Christine Christine Devillers attached the following image: [128.78Kb] Edited by Christine Devillers on 05-04-2008 19:33 |

Thanks. She was near nests of Ancistrocerus. Are they also cleptoparasites of those species or only of Crabro ? Edited by Christine Devillers on 05-04-2008 19:53 |

Most records I have seen are from Crabronidae, and other species of Eustalomyia have been reared from nests of Sphecoidea as well. I don't know what group Ancistrocerus belongs to. |

Ancistrocerus belongs to Eumenidae (Vespoidea). |
